Old gold

I went to the bank today. It is during the lunch hour and there are lots of customers but less staffs as the staffs have gone to lunch while customers are using their lunch hours to do banking business.

After waiting for a long time, it is finally my turn. I told them I want to open a gold account and they gave me a form. I filled in and returned to them. I asked how much gold do I need to invest as a first time. They told me senior citizens account do not need that much.

All my girlfriends are addicted to Farmville. When we get together, we will be talking about our flowers in the farmville. Gone were the days when we really chat about the flowers we planted in our gardens. Now, we are doing cybergardening and that is not good at all.

However, how can we not be hooked to this game where we can plant vegetables, flowers and rear animals. They grow and they produce things for us to sell and make farmville coins.

Then, we build bigger and better farms.

As I age, I no longer can enjoy buffet meals anymore. Gone were the high teas days when I can really sit down and enjoy a cup of tea with lots of fanciful tarts and sandwiches.

Now, I get full very fast and cannot enjoy the buffet spread. I usually go for only one round and that too, take only selective stuffs.

That’s why my friends and I don’t go for buffet sunset dinners though we used to enjoy them very much. We could sit down and had a long dinner, watching the sun setting and then, proceed to our nightime dancing.

I have spent several hours working on some things. It is not easy for an old lady like me to be sitting down and concentrating on the online business of mine. I sometimes wish I don’t need to do these things.

Instead, I would like to find a nice home like what we can get from Tamarindo Real Estate. Then, I will retire and not do anything for the rest of my life.

However, I have not keep enough cash to enjoy that sort of life yet. I still need to slough it out. I must finish my work because it is already 2 am. I just have to tell myself I can do it, I can do it and hope to hit the bed in a hour’s time.

It is nice to wake up in the morning to enjoy breakfast. It is even nicer to prepare the breakfast on the previous night and then, be greeted with the aroma of breakfast cooking in the crockpot.

I love to make oyster porridge. It is easy to do as all I need is a slow cooker, a bunch of rice, dried oysters and scallops and some garlic.

This is a staple of some Chinese who loves porridge as breakfast.
