Softer brush, and more often, after every time you eat something. Anything. Keep it up. For a while you could also use antibacterial mouthwash (yuk). Sustained better mouth hygiene cures gum disease, bleeding stops.

Go to you GP you may have something more serious going on. Ask for a blood test.
All the best.

Make yourself a solution of warm water and salt.
Gargle with it twice a day to heal your gums.

Yeah, its a common problem.
Gum disease can be fixed.
Need to floss twice a day.
And brush your teeth twice a day, take your time with it, dont rush it.
Better still get an electric tooth brush.
Savacol - an antiseptic mouthwash is great for killing the bacteria that cause gum disease.
It may take a month of two but this will do it !

Yes i just had the same problem sorted by my dentist. The problem is plaque below the gum line which builds up and irritates the gum, which in turn results in gum desease.First you need the plaque removed by your dentist who should have suggested this anyway, buy deep root scraping under local aneasthetic, doesnt hurt….much…then use a mouthwash..cordosil i think it is called after every brushing.
when you brush, use an electronic toothbrush and gently aim the bristles below your gumline….gently…
You will see improvement after only a week, but you need the plaque removed first……..good luck.

bleeding gums is avery serious problem plus it’s very annoying many reasons for this problem:
1-improper teeth brushing
2-chronic gingivitus(inflamation of gums)
3-subgingival calculus(tartar under the gums)
4-bleeding tendency(like haemophilia, leukamia )or any blood disease associated with decreased platlet count

I’ve got the same thing sometimes, but the dentist asked me whether they bleed or not and when i said yes, she said it was ok because it shows that its cleaning itself? but the next person told me it shouldnt bleed coz then its gum disease, so i’m a bit confused myself, but i’m just ignoring it for now, if somethings sore then i’ll do something about it but its fine for now

You should floss you teeth daily and brush them at least twice a day. You may need to be put on a mild antibiotic for the infection, but flossing at least once a day and brushing in a cicular motion with the brush at an angle towards the gums are the right place to start. Go to a different dentist, you may need an RX
