My friend’s daughter was diagnosed with a fatty liver. She is overweight and we are working on that with diet and exercise but I have read that cleansing diets are very helpful but would like to find one that doesn’t require me forking out lots of money for supplements that I have no idea what they actually contain.
Although there are so many advertisement for liver cleansing and liver detox, I really doubt if they work as marvellously as they claim to. I hope people can help to give me some suggestions that have been tried and tested.

My friends who are in the 60s and 70s are always concerned about their health. Meanwhile those of us who are in our late fourties and fifties were beginning to be made more aware of the benefits of healthy eating. One particular healthy eating plans that I would like to share with my friends is the DASH Diet.
What is DASH Diet?
DASH Diet, as what I gathered from WIKI is :
Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension or the DASH diet is a diet promoted by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (part of the NIH, an organisation part of the government of the USA) to control hypertension. A major feature of the plan is limiting intake of sodium,[1] and it also generally encourages the consumption of nuts, whole grains, fish, poultry, fruits and vegetables while lowering the consumption of red meats, sweets, and sugar. It is also “rich in potassium, magnesium, and calcium, as well as protein and fiber.
And if you want a clearer guide on DASH Diet, do check out this link from http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/hbp/prevent/h_eating/h_e_dash.htm
which is the National Heart Institute. They have a good guide on the amount of servings of fruits, nuts, meat and etc.

Does detoxing just remove excess water and crap from your intestines? What about fat?
I have heard my old gentleman friend talked about this detox program that he underwent. Of course, remember to ask your doctor first before you embark on this drastic measure because your health may not be able to take it.
So, this dear old friend of mine went on detox program with the hope of losing his beer belly. But he didn’t. Of course he cannot lose fat but the detox program is said to clear his inner system, making his feel much active.

I want to detox my body for clearer skin, more energy and generally to feel more healthy, BUT i’m already naturally skinny so i don’t want to lose wieght. I’m aware that any detox ‘diet’ causes weight loss, but i would like mine to be as minimal as possible. Any ideas for a 7 day plan?
Do you think if I continue to eat my regular meals, I will not become skinny further? I am happy with my current weight so any loss of weight will make me look scrawny.

I was surfing this forum for married couples and some guy asked this question. He is only in his mid thirties and I think it is very worrying why so many people are suffering from premature ejaculation at such a young age. Many people said premature ejaculation could be due to stress and I believe these younger generation have more stresses than what we lived in the 60s and 70s.
Eventhough there are so many help for premature ejaculation, the problems to escalate. Or could this be due to the more openess and people do not mind talking about premature ejaculation problems openly now? One can look around for solutions to premature ejaculation but as always, the best person is to find a doctor to diagnose if there is any underlying health with the prostrate. Prostrate and other urinary problems can lead to this problem and usually doctors are able to solve them.
