Old gold

I just learnt a new word today. It is TMD/TMJ (TEMPOROMANDIBULAR DISORDERS). That’s quite a mouthful to say. However, it is really something that none of us want to get. It hurts a lot.

It started with a slight pain a few days ago. However, it gets worse and soon, I cannot even talk or eat because the pain radiates from the jaw to the head and the whole face. I tried taking two paracetamols but the pain won’t go away.

I did a bit of Google search and learn about TMJ. Now, I just have to wait for the pain to go away. I hope it doesn’t get worse or I will need to see a doctor.
