Old gold

I have this watch which my mom gave to me. It is very old now but still working fine. I have been keeping it in memory of my mom and hardly wear it because I do not want to damage it. I think the watch is probably 20 years old. Such are the workmanship of good watches because they never seem to wear out. Each second and each day they tick-tock through the decades.

Unfortunately watch makers don’t make masterpieces like these anymore. Nowadays, most watches seem to have a lifespan like us and they are getting shorter and shorter. So, if I am going to buy a watch, I think I will find some classic brand like a patek philippe watch.
