Senior year and graduation=burnout?

Okay so I’ve been stressed and that lead to depression my senior year. I’m still feeling it even though I just graduated. It all started last aug. I don’t feel like the same person I use to be. I feel angrier more than usual. I don’t know what it is part of me feels empty inside like something is missing. I am kinda scared going off to college and moving out yet excited. I just feel lost half the time though. I hear that some people go through the same thing after graduation. I don’t know what kind of answer I’m looking for but is there some advice to ease my frustration over my stress. I guess i had it my senior year and i avoided trying to take care of the stress but now it’s summer and I have to deal w/ it and i just feel like a burnout. On top of that there’s someone i really care about who has no idea they gave me a broken heart. We broke up mutually but i honestly still care a lot for them.Mixing all these emotion isn’t good. What should i do face it on my own or see a counsleor?

  1. Most college campuses have counselors available to the students. Call the college you will be attending and set up an appointment with a counselor. Most students will go through a period of adjustment when starting college because it is such a big change from high school. It took me a semester to really get used to college life. Most students have mixed feelings when starting college, but talk to a counselor to help you with your anger and stress.

  2. gonna be tough. u gotta get control of yourself. not easy. tell yourself tt this is gonna blow over. u got to tell your mind to untangle the mess. prioritze your needs and tasks. passing exams is the sole and main objective now. can u try to concentrate on this. take long walks in the woods / beach and talk to yourself - analyse situ, shout if need be, curse and swear @ yourself not others. where u went wrong - how to right it etc. this will take a few days. this will sort out your thougths / feelings. then cloister yourself into your room and study like mad! no distraction and get tt sr yr over and done with. wanna try?
    try to joke with yourself, listen to some humor - jay leno? no alcohol, drugs, cigarettes just lots of water and limited chocolates. lessen red meat, more vege, no artificial drinks like coke, juices with citric acid. all these will help in some ways to ‘lighten’ ur body. also see a counselor. pl take care as ur future is right in front of u. take care
