My friend who did the lasik eye surgery told me she didn’t get any side-effects at all. This is so different from the myths I heard. A few older ladies told me they dare not cook for three months because they were afraid the oil and heat from the cooking will spoil their eyes.

The slight discomforts encountered by my friend is merely dry eye which is easily corrected by artificial tears. Then, the first few hours after the surgery, she also have problem with too bright lights. The doctor who did the lasik surgery told her to wear a sunglasses if she cannot endure bright lights.

Other than that, there is no pain. Now, I am almost convinced to do an eye lasik surgery.
