Staying away from loneliness

I read an article today about older folks giving up on living when they are retired and not having any children or grandchildren around them. It is a good reminder to me to stay constantly in touch with the world eventhough I no longer go out to work.

My physician also published a little booklet on ways to stay active and happy. He said that in order for us to do that, we have to get ourselves involve in community works, joining clubs and helping out in churches or other charitable bodies. He said that a person will remain much happier when they have constant contact with other people.

Now, the younger generation is lucky that there are so many ways for them to get in touch with friends and they can really expand their horizon. They can share their musics, photos, chat with their friends, get to know new friends and much more through all those online communities. For example, this 3gb also allows one to blog and also to listen to MP3 music.

This does sound like a good idea. I am going to get all my other friends to join me being active online as well. I am sure they can get their grandchildren to teach them how to use.
